Using the Edit Bus State dialog

Centering text in a signal segment is generally done by attaching a text object to the particular segment. This method is effective when you want to specify color and font size of the text, or you only want to add text to one segment. If you want to rapidly label multiple segments however, we recommend using the Edit Bus State dialog.

To label a signal:

1. Double click on the segment to open the Edit Bus State dialog.

2. Enter your text inside the virtual edit box. Use the Next or Previous buttons to edit the other segments, or press the OK button to close the dialog.

To label a clock:

1. Left click on the HEX button to activate it.

2. Double click on a clock segment to open the Edit Bus State dialog. Enter your text inside the virtual edit box. Use the Next or Previous buttons to edit the other segments, or press the OK button to close the dialog.
